If elected, Renato Turano will work tirelessly to accomplish the following objectives:

• Pass legislation to make it easier to reclaim Italian citizenship.

• Increase funding to Italian consulates, improve consular services, eliminate duplication of effort among Italian government offices.

• Increase funding to Italian language programs on the elementary, middle and high school levels.

• Increase cultural programs from Italy and make them more accessible to the community.

• Subsidize newspapers, radio shows and television programs that promote Italian culture and language.

• Encourage academic, student and cultural exchanges on the university level.

• Facilitate economic exchanges, joint ventures and increased trade.

• Reform the Italian electoral process.
